I was handed this card while strolling through the market of Ottawa, Ontario. It got my goat a little because the statement “Your IQ, personality and aptitude determine your future” is a little  bit feeble in my opinion.

It’s clear they’re trolling for people who have this fault in their thinking. They may be vulnerable and easy to exploit.

For one thing, the future is very chaotic. This is part of the nature of Social Networks and also of the universe.

If you don’t believe me you should ask a butterfly.

Outcomes of our lives can be affected not only by us but also the environment.

Here’s a very cool (but fictitious) example.

This is sort of about a loss of control over the situation.

But here’s another fun example and thought experiment.

To think that you are constrained by your abilities is very small minded. This whole notion that things are designed for you is very limiting.
